          Nakon završetka srednje škole, upisuje Akademiju za pozorišnu umetnost u Beogradu u odseku režije, koju završava 1956.

          godine u klasi Huga Klajna.

          Tokom svoje karijere, bio je pomoćni režiser u Jugoslovenskom dramskom pozorištu, od 1956—1960. godine, a zatim glavni režiser do 1965. godine.
